- Description
- Western Area Power Administration (Western) intends to award one firm fixed price contract for Crossarms. Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to provide 1200 crossarms (laminated, treated and drilled), per the specifications and drawing. This is a commercial supply acquisition per FAR Part 12. The RFQ is issued, quotes will be evaluated, and award will be made i/a/w the simplified procedures authorized by FAR Subpart 13.5. The solicitation is set aside 100% for Small Business Concerns (NAICS Code 335932, size standard 500 employees). The solicitation (Request for Quotes/RFQ) will be issued electronically on or about June 7, 2005. Quotes may be submitted by mail, fax, email, or submitted electronically online. Prospective contractors must complete electronic annual representations and certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov (ORCA) in conjunction with required registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Quotes are due by 3:00 PM Mountain Time on Monday, June 20, 2005.
