- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotations. The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA/NOS Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services, has a requirement for Environmental Field Services. This requirement is not set aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 541330 and the applicable size standard is $4.0 million. A Request for Quotation, the accompanying Statement of Objectives entitled Environmental Field Services dated June 6, 2005, and six tasks are attached. The period of performance is 60 months from date of award. Responses must be sent electronically in MS Word format to Phillip.Harrell@noaa.gov and in paper to Phillip Harrell, Contract Specialist, National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration, 1305 East West Highway, Suite 7604, SSMC4, Silver Spring, Maryland 20910, no later than 11:00 am, local time, on June 27, 2005. The applicable terms and conditions for the resulting purchase order are current through FAC 2005-03 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. Interested contractors are hereby advised that contractors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Please register with CCR at the following website: http://www.ccr.gov.
