- THE PROJECT HAS BEEN CANCELLED AND WILL NOT BE ISSUED. THIS SYNOPSIS IS HEREBY CANCELLED. DEMOLITION: Work to be performed under this contract shall consist of furnishing all labor, material, and equipment necessary to demolish military family housing units located in South Pinehaven, South Harrison Court, and Oak Park, Keesler AFB, MS. Work will include (a) Complete abatement and disposal of all asbestos containing material and lead containing paint; (b) Complete demolition and disposal of the entire housing structures and storage sheds as indicated on the plans, to include the associated foundations, porches, sidewalks and utility service connections back to the main as indicated; and (c) Restoration of the grounds to include removal of utilities as indicated, fill as required, topsoil, and hydroseeding. Area shall be graded to provide drainage. This shall be a firm-fixed price requirements type contract. Delivery or performance shall be made only as authorized by orders issued in accordance with the Ordering Clause. The period of performance shall consist of a Basic Period beginning on the date of award and expiring 30 Jun 06. Magnitude of proposed construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 238910 and the size standard is $12,000,000. The solicitation package will be issued as a competitive Hubzone Set-Aside in the form of a Request for Proposal (RFP) utilizing Performance Price Trade-Off (PPT) procedures and will be made available for downloading from the Internet (Federal Business Opportunities Web-Site) at www.fedbizopps.gov on approximately 3 May 05. Specifications and drawings will NOT be directly provided in a paper hard copy format. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (amendments) shall be made only on the Internet. It is therefore the contractor?s responsibility to check the above listed web address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation?s specifications and drawings. Downloading from the Internet is free of charge; however, some plans and specifications will take a considerable amount of time to download. TELEPHONE AND FAX REQUESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The closing date is TENATIVELY scheduled for 7 Jun 05. Offors will only be accepted from Hubzone contractors. Firms responding will be checked through the SBA Pronet site http://pro-net.sba.gov. All prospective contractors must register in the Central Contractor?s Registration database prior to award of a government contract. CCR registration may be accomplished at www.ccr.gov . Additional information pertaining to CCR registration may be obtained by calling 1-888-227-2423. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the DOD central registration database will render your firm ineligible for award.
