- Description
- The Postal Service intends through a strategic sourcing initiative to solicit and award a contract for the purchase of Vehicle Operation Information System software (VOIS). The selected supplier shall be responsible for software licensing, software maintenance, technical support services, and training. This award will be base on a firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. The USPS has determined that limiting competition among existing strategic partners including MRO Software, Inc., Indus, MAXIMUS Asset Solution, and Datastream most effectively leverages supply chain management practices and satisfies the Postal Services business objectives. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This synopsis is published for suppliers subcontracting information purposes only.
