- Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Maritime Industrial Branch, Hampton Roads Division intends to contract for one hundred fifty (150) each concrete keel blocks to be manufactured in accordance with NAVFAC Dwg. Nos. 4521525 (Page 1 of 3); 4521526 (Page 2 of 3); 4521527 (Page 3 of 3). Complete ordering data and exceptions to the specified drawings will be provided in the written solicitation package. The proposed requirement shall be awarded under a firm fixed-price contract utilizing Simplified Acquisition procedures as set-forth in FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The applicable NAICS code is 327390 with a Small Business Size Standard of 500 employees. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerors at any time prior to award. Delivery shall be FOB destination, Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA 23709-5000. Inspection and final acceptance shall occur at destination. The date and time for receipt of offers shall be established in the written solicitation. Contractors are advised that this solicitation is NOT available electronically via the NECO Website. Requests for the solicitation package shall be accepted via mail addressed to: FISC NNSY Annex, Attn: Karen England, Code 532.1G, Bldg 1500, 2nd Floor, Portsmouth, VA 23709-5000 or via e-mail to: englandkl@nnsy.navy.mil. FAX AND OR PHONE REQUESTS ARE NOT AUTHORIZED AND WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. All requests for this solicitation shall include a complete mailing address, telephone number, fax number and authorized point of contact. Important Notice: DFARS 252.204.7004, Required Central Contractor Registration applies. Lack of current registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
