- Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Philadelphia, intends to acquire the following Digital Fuel Control Equipment (1) Fuel Metering Valve, P/N 9902-358, Qty 3, (2) Variable Stator Vane(VSV)Actuators, P/N 9902-363, Qty 3, and (3) Hydraulic Pump/Servo Pump P/N 9902-399, Qty 3. The equipment will be procured by placing a firm fixed price contract with the Woodward Governor Company, Industrial Controls, 1000 East Drake Road, Fort Collins, CO. Requested delivery date will be five months after award. The proposed contract action is for equipment for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 15 days after date of this publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government! . A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
