- Mine Reclamation Construction Services - Reclamation of two abandoned coal mine shafts in Coos County, Oregon will involve excavation of soils, and construction of polyurethane foam plugs and concrete caps to seal the top of the mine openings. No underground work is required. Construction will begin in late August 2005. Coos County Oregon Reclamation Project; solicitation number IFB514014, estimated price range $20,000 - $30,000. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is mandatory for bidders. Bids will not be opened from bidders who have not registered at and attend all of the site inspection pre-bid meeting. The pre-bid site meeting will be held June 28th and will begin at 10:00 am (Pacific time). Bidders will meet on Highway 101 south of Coos Bay and just south of the junction with Highway 42. See plan sheet C-2 for map. ONLY written requests for the Invitation for Bids (IFB) will be accepted. All Government Contractors are required to register with the Central Contactor Registration (CCR) system. CCR is a single, government-wide system for storing contractor information. A vendor must be registered in the CCR in order to receive contracts and purchase orders from federal agencies. CCR is a self-service database.
