Description

Description: This is a fence building project near Geraldine Montana. The contractor is to furnish labor, equipment, supplies and materials, except for specified Government-furnished property to construct approximately 2.35 miles of new fence with appurtenances. _______ The line items read as follows: 1) MT02834(1) Barbed Wire Fence (4 wire) - 750 rods; 2) MT02834(5) Barbed Wire End Panel (Type II) - 14 each; 3) MT02834(9) Five Post Barbed Wire Corner Panel (Type II) - 17 each; 4) MT02834(32a) Barbed Wire Gate (4 wire) - 2 each; 5) MT02834(30) Single Set Wood Post - 50 each; and 6) MT02834(52) Drainage Crossing Type A Modified. _______ Quantities are estimated. Award will be All or None. Estimated cost is between $10,000 and $25,000. _______ The Request of Quote will be issued on or before June 3, 2005. A Site Tour is scheduled for Thursday, June 16, 2005 at 9 a.m. All interested quoters are to meet at the Geraldine Post Office located in Geraldine Montana. Please provide your own transportation; a four wheel drive is recommended due to travel over unimproved roads and trails will be required. The Request for Quote will close on Monday, June 27, 2005 with award tentatively scheduled for the following day. The project should take approximately 50 days to complete with the period of performance between July 19 and September 19, 2005. _______ This is a Small Business Set-Aside. Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr.gov) is required. Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) is also now required.
