- It has been determined necessary and in the best interest of the Government to amend Solicitation W912EF-05-B-0010. Please review Amendment 6. The Bid Opening remains unchanged, June 16, 2005 at 2:00 PM. The Site Visit remains unchanged, June 7, 2005 at 9:00 AM. The copy can be reviewed on the EBS Website: http://www.nww.usace.army.mil/ebs/AdvertisedSolicitations.asp The purpose of this amendment is to: Provide answers to questions that have been submitted regarding the solicitation. Notice to Bidders: Please mark outside of envelope in which bid is mailed and block 18 of Standard Form 1442 to acknowledge receipt of this amendment. Question: Can you please verify what the machine conditions are going to be for the visit, i.e. what kind of access there will be? Will there be a lamination, wedges and spare bar available for measuring? Answer: Access to Generator for inspection will include two top shrouds and two bottom shrouds removed to access the top and bottom of the winding. Spare Top and Bottom coil will be available to measure. Wedges will be available to measure. No laminations are a vailable.
