Description
A MARKET SURVEY is being conducted to determine if there are adequate 8(a)or Hubzone for this proposed contract for either 8(a) or Hubzone Business Competitive Set-Aside award. Construct a 16,000-square foot Public Safety Center (PSC) with a 250-foot communications tower and 2,500-square foot detached garage to shelter approximately 10 vehicles. The PSC interior will consist of a standard police station and Criminal Investigation Division (CID), with internal functions consisting of offices, classroo ms, briefing rooms, holding cells, a communications room, file storage, general storage, arms room, physical security room, computer server room, evidence room, investigative room, etc. Permanent construction will include a foundation with reinforced conc rete piers, concrete floor slabs, structural steel frame, masonry veneer walls, heating, ventilation and air conditioning system, mechanical systems, emergency generator, and security systems, including fire alarms. Supporting facilities include an emerge ncy generator and shelter for the communications tower, telecommunications equipment, site improvements (including the demolition of three existing buildings), 5,100-square yards of paving, fencing, exterior lighting, landscaping, and utilities. Responses should include: Identification of conmpany as 8(a) or Hubzone; Past Experience, descibing experience similar in size and scope to the proposed project; % of self-performed work and how it was accomplisehd; Cap ability of obtaining performance and payment bonds for project in the dollar amounts listed aboe and an statement verifying the contractor will self-perform 15% of the work and how it will be accomplished.
