- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-13 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20030331. This acquisition is a small business set-aside. NAICS is 334220 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. Solicitation is for commercial purchase of: QTY Manufacturer Part Number 4 TACLANE (KG-175A) GigE Encryptor Release 3.1 GE-99100-1 Includes: External AC power adaptor, one RS232 console cable, two pairs of fiber optic cables with adaptors, one pair 10 baseT cables and one operators manual. Three-year warranty and technical help desk support. Description: The TACLANE-GigE is the latest solution for high-speed secure communications. The GigE enables high bandwidth applications. Features: 1U Small form factor (1.73?H x 17.5?W x 16.7?D); 2Gb/s aggregate throughput (across full packet size spectrum); High Assurance IP Interoperability Specification (HAIPE IS) v1 compliant; HAIPE IS, crypto modernization compliant; Seamless integration with COTS infrastructure; Rack mountable; Completely field-programmable software/firmware; Configure via optional remote management or locally via TACLANE HMI using serial port (laptop/PDA); External power supply (included with unit) Place of delivery, performance, and acceptance is FOB Destination, Edwards AFB, CA 93524.
