- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Purchase Request number is DSSTV0501180001 as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation document and incorporate provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-03 (11 Apr 2005) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) change notice 20050001. It is the offeror?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This acquisition is for the purchase of the following items: A contractor is needed to supply parts, labor and equipment, for the installation of one each LCD projectors. VIDEO: 1 ea. Christie DS + 60 6500 Ansi Lumen 3 chip LCD Projector System; 1 ea. Lensing System For existing Screen that is 24' Wide X 16' High with a throw distance of 60'; 1 ea. Input Module Video; 1 ea. Projection Install Kit to mount the projector under the existing projector; 1 ea RGBHV Video Matrix switcher 12 input 8 output up to 450 Mhz bandwidth; CONTROL SYSTEMS: 1 ea Integrated Master/NetLinx controller in a single unit with 8 IR Ports, 8 I/O Ports, 8 Relays, and 7 RS-232/422/485 Ports with 4 NXC Card Slots; 1 ea Modero Color Active 12" Table Top Touch Panel, Black with Platinum Trim Ring; 1 ea AMX Volume Card, 4 Channels; 2 ea AMX Video Sync Sensor (2 I/O channels); 1 ea AMX 12VDC, 6.5A Power Supply (regulated, 110/220V AC input, 3.5mm Phoenix Connectors Included); 1 ea AXLink Bus Strip; CABLES & HARDWARE: 1 ea Cables & Hardware; INTEGRATION SERVICES: 1 Lot Engineering, Programming, Drawings, Installation, Documentation, Project Management, Testing & Training. Award will be made based on best value for the Government. The acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industrial Classification System Code is 443112 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated by reference and are to remain in full force in any resultant purchase order; FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Item (Jan 2005) and 52.215-5, Facsimile Proposals (Oct 1997) applies to this acquisition. Submit signed and dated quotes on company letterhead. The basis for award: Award will be made to the lowest price offered who takes no exception to the specifications. Interested vendors must quote on all items. Partial quotes will not be accepted. Only one (1) award will be made as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation. The contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database. Offerors must be registered in the Online Representations and Certifications system at http://orca.bpn.gov) and provide a completed DFARS 252.225-7000, Buy American Act-Balance of Payment Program Certificate (Apr 2003) with the quote. The following DFARS clauses are included by reference: DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items (Jan 2005) and the following clauses are applicable under sub-paragraph (a) and (b): 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Programs (Apr 2003); 252.232-7003, Electronic Submission of Payment Request (Jan 2004). DFARS 252.204-7004 Alternate A Central Contractor Registration (Nov 2003) is also applicable.
