- The U.S. Coast Guard, Maintenance & Logistics Command, Pacific (vpl) is seeking qualified Total Small Business Set-aside firms capable of performing haul out and repairs for the USCGC 41313 Utility boat, stationed at CG Station Sand Island, Honolulu, HI. The contractors facility must be located within 275 nautical miles of the boats assign station, Sand Island, Honolulu, HI. The performance period will begin 11 July 2005 and ending 19 August 2005. The solicitation will be issued on or about 17 June 2005. The work items include but not limited to: structural repairs, minor; boat transportation; exterior paint freeboard removal; hull plating repair minor; hull plating u/t measurement; underwater body inspection; rubber rubrail renewal; fuel tank clean and inspect; cabin top fiberglass repairs; cabin top gel coat repairs; exterior paint, topside removal; engine alignment; engine renewal; propeller shafting, inspect/reinstall; propulsion shaft flange face alignment; propulsion shaft bearing, stern tube renewal; propulsion shaft bearing strut renewal, exhaust riser renewal; rudder bearing renewal, underwater body preservation (no foul sn1`); deck covering, nonskid pad renewal; forward cabin deck carpet and paneling renewal; engine room insulation and sheathing renewal; insulation renewal. All potential Total small business set-aside offerors are advised that the Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued on or about 17 June 2005.
