- The Aircraft Structures Commodity Council (ASCC) is pleased to announce that an Industry Conference will be held on 6-7 June 2005 to present information, obtain valuable input from industry and discuss sourcing strategies for Federal Stock Classes 1560, 1610, 1615 and 5342. The Aircraft Structures Commodity Council is a cross-functional team that will develop and execute AF-wide commodity sourcing strategies. You also have an opportunity to provide input to the government by responding to the Request for Information (RFI). Your participation in the industry conference and the RFI will be appreciated. (See additional postings for the RFI under the solicitation number cited above). The Industry Conference will be held in the Robins AFB Chapel Annex, Bldg 769, Ninth Street, Robins AFB GA. The 6 June morning session will be held from 8:00a.m.-12:00p.m. In this session, you will be introduced to the commodity council members and briefed on the analyses conducted to date. The afternoon of 6 June and entire day of 7 June will be devoted to one-on-one meetings with individual suppliers on an appointment basis. This will allow you to meet with the team and offer your input from an industry perspective. Due to space constraints, we are limiting these meetings to 2-3 participants from your company.
