- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division requires Dayscopes with mounting rings compatible with the 1913 rail. The Navy intends to award a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract for a minimum of 4 scopes and a maximum of 7700 scopes, a minimum of 2 mounting rings and a maximum of 8000 mounting rings. The acquisition will be conducted with Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Commercial Items in accordance with FAR 13.5 Brand Name or Equal, Lightforce USA Inc., 1040 Hazen Lane, Orofino, ID 83544. Sizes are 1-4x24mm, 2.5-10x24mm, 3.5-15x50mm, 5.5-22x56mm. See Note 26. Delivery for the Dayscopes shall be FOB destination within 90 days from the effective date of Delivery Order. Preliminary inspection will occur at source and final inspection and acceptance will be at destination. The solicitation will be posted on the NSWC Crane web site at www.crane.navy.mil; no hardcopies of the solicitation will be mailed.
