- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) China Lake, CA intends to issue a firm-fixed price indefinite delivery / indefinite quantity contract using FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items for counseling services. The request for proposal (RFP) will be issued as a 100% small business competitive set-aside. The period of performance will be a base of one year with four, one-year options. Performance start date for base year will be 15 Sep 05 and ending 14 Sep 06. Option years, if exercised will follow accordingly, first option year will start 15 Sep 06 and ending 14 Sep 07, second option year 15 Sep 07 and ending 14 Sep 08, third option year starting 15 Se p 08 and ending 14 Sep 09, and last option year (fourth) starting 15 Sep 09 and ending 14 Sep 2010. The contractor will provide professional counseling services for the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) of the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWd) for the Point Mugu CA sites throu! gh a full scope out patient mental health facility. The services will be performed both on the Naval Base Ventura County at Point Mugu and within the community areas. The services shall include referrals in general, crisis counseling/emergency referrals, workplace violence and critical incident stress debriefing. Complete description of the services will be provided in the Statement of Work, which will be available with the RFP, when it is released. The RFP and associated documents will be issued on or about 13 Jun 05 and close 30 days after issuance date.
