- Description
- The Naval Medical Logistics Command has a requirement for dental healthcare services in the Southwest of the United States, which encompasses the following: San Diego, Lemoore, and Camp Pendleton and other Military Dental Treatment facilities in CA, AZ, and NV. This is a competitive procurement for a multi-disciplinary dental worker indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) personal services type contract. The types of healthcare workers providing services under the resulting contract(s) will cover a broad spectrum of dental care ranging from Dental Assistants to Specialty Dentists. Though the labor categories contemplated under this procurement differ, they are all in the same functional area of dental healthcare services. The minimum quantities anticipated for this procurement are: 33,280 hours of General Dentist services; 70,720 hours of Dental Hygienists services; 24,960 hours of Laboratory Technician services; and 131,040 hours of Dental Assistant services. The maximum quantity is approximately 991,312 hours. The contract(s) will have a five-year ordering period. The NAICS code for this requirement is 622110. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. No RFPs will be mailed to offerors. The RFP and all amendments will be posted to the internet at http://www.nmlc.med.navy.mil when released sometime in May 2005.
