- Historical context study. Develop a historical context study of stock grazing, ranching, and homesteading in the greater Powder River Basin region of Wyoming covering the general period of the early 1850's through 1939. The context will provide a framework for the identification and evaluation of property types associated with the development of cattle and sheep ranching operations and homesteading in the greater Powder River Basin. The context must also address the history of livestock grazing in the greater Powder River Basin, the development of ranching, homesteading, and the public land laws which structured the settlement of the region. Settlement patterns should be discussed including the degree to which the environment affected the success and/or failure of ranches and homesteads. The majority of data should be obtained from previous studies, archival records, maps, oral histories, and other published or unpublished materials. Period of performance: approximately 430 days. Small business set aside. NAICS 712120, size standard: $6,000,000.00. Additional requirements to be stipulated in the RFQ. ONLY ELECTRONIC QUOTATIONS SUBMITTED VIA "IDEASEC.NBC.GOV" WILL BE ACCEPTED.
