Description

This is an unrestricted procurement. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment, and constructing the bank stabilization work on Perry Creek in Grenada County, Mississippi. The principal features of work include clear ing and grubbing, debris removal, excavation, backfill, R200 riprap, erosion control, willow planting, diversion dike, corrugated metal pipe culvert, using the Government-furnished software (RMS) for electronic exchange of information and management of the contract (See Section 01312 QUALITY CONTROL SYSTEM), providing as-built drawings, complying with all requirements of Section 01452 MILESTONE COMPLIANCE REVIEW PROCEDURE (MCRP), storm water pollution prevention and environmental protection. The value of t he proposed work is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Plans and specifications will be available on the Vicksburg Consolidated Contracting Office WEB PAGE at http://www.mvk.usace.army.mil./contract/. Compact disc and hardcopies will not be available . Bidders should check the VCCO Web Page often for new solicitations and/or changes (AMENDMENTS) to existing ones. Issue date on or about June 17, 2005. Bid opening date on or about July 19, 2005.
