- Description
- The U.S. Army, Corps of Engineers, Memphis District, has a requirement for the above subject. This is not a Solicitation Announcement or a Request for Proposal and does not obligate the Government to any contract award. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to determine interest and capability of potentially qualified/certified, Service Disable Veteran-Owned Small Business, relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 237990. To make appropriate acquisitions for the above project, the Government, will use responses to this sources sought synopsis and possible future projects as determined to be in the best interest of the Government. The order of magnitude, for this effort is estimated to be under $2,000,000.00. This project will consist of boring and jacking 2 6 ft. diameter reinforced concrete pipes within a steel liner and grouting between; concrete pipes will have preformed inlets and cast-in-place concrete outlet structure with flapgates; outlet structure e xcavation, inlet and outlet channel excavation; placement of structural backfill, filter material and riprap; removal of existing culvert inlet and outlet structure; grouting existing culvert and environmental protection. Main Street B-202, Tennessee 38103. Response must b e received no later than 11:00 a.m. Central Standard Time, on June 6, 2005. The following information is requested: (1) Name of firm w/address, telephone, fax number, e-mail address, and point of contact. (2) State if your company is a Service-Disable d Veteran-Owned Small Business. (3) State whether your firm can provide an Irrevocable Letter of Credit or a Payment Bond (100% of the contract amount). Qualifications are as follows: Responses to this sources sought synopsis shall indicate specialized experience and technical competence in: (a) boring and jacking; (b) channel excavation and all other work associated with the general work requirement of this project. Evaluation(s) will consider overall experience. Also provide documentation for your firm on past performance as a prime contractor. Submission Requirements: Firms submitting responses shall present their information in a matrix format showing contracts they have performed. The matrix shall show the most recent five projects that prove you can meet each qualification criteria listed above. It shall include contract number, project title and location, description of work, and a point of contact and telephone number for each. Firms should also indicate all applicable personnel and sub-c ontractors proposed to work on the contract. Firms who fail to provide ALL of the required information requested, will not be considered by the Government while making the acquisition decision for this sources sought announcement.
