Description: The US Army C-E LCMC intends to award a contract for Field and Engineering Support, Repair and Depot Support and Production of Near Term Digital Radios (NTDR) on a sole source basis to ITT Industries, Inc,.1919 West Cook Road, Ft. Wayne, IN 46801-116 5, in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304 ( c ) (1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. The contract will be a five year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with both Time and Material (T&M) and Firm Fixed Price (FFP) line items. The NTDR is a high throughput, Army communication system for the inter Tactical Operational Center (TOC) traffic and is the High Tactical Internet backbone communication system for the division and brigade areas. It is one of five major elements, which wi ll provide seamless digital communications capability throughout the fighting force for the Digital Battlefield of the 21st Century.
