- Elmendorf AFB, Alaska has a requirement for the removal of equipment, vehicles, and materials, located at Hemlock Bay Alaska. The vendor shall provide a barge of sufficient size and load capacity to transport all identified equipment, vehicles, and materials. This equipment will be loaded from its current staging location at Hemlock Bay, Annette Island Alaska to the consignee (GENCOM) at either the Port of Tacoma or the Port of Olympia in Washington. The Government will provide a complete listing of all equipment to be considered. A drop ramp barge is required. This requirement will be issued as unrestricted. The associated NAICS code is 483111 with a size standard of $6,000,000. The RFQ will be issued on or about 27 May 05 with a closing date on or about 2 June 05. Potential contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) to be eligible for award. The CCR Internet web site is http://www.ccr2000.com. Upon issue, the RFQ will be available on the Internet at the Electronic Posting System (EPS) web site, which is at the following address: http://eps.satx.disa.mil or http://FedBizOpps.gov. All responsible sources may submit a written proposal, which shall be considered.
