A firm fixed-price, fixed-quantity commercial contract is contemplated for remanufacture of F110-100/100B High Pressure Compressor Forward Stator Cases. Line Item 0001: Remanufacture: NOUN: F110-GE-100 HPC Forward Stator Cases. Input/Output NSN: 2840-01-192-6909PR, P/N: 9528M23G10 and/or NSN: 2840-01-240-3588PR, P/N: 9528M23G12. Quantity: 14 EA Line Item 0002: G009 Data Reporting 1 Lot. This Line Item is NOT SEPARATELY PRICED. Applicable to: F110-GE-100/-129 Engine. Destn: Tinker Air Force Base OK 73145-3032. IPE quantity of 1 each of F110-GE-100 HPC Forward Stator Cases may be required. Delivery: Item 0001: 2 EA per month starting 60 days ARO and receipt of reparable assets and 2 EA per month thereafter. Description: The High Pressure Compressor Forward Stator case is comprised of two halves that are matched sets. They provide the mounting surface for six stages of vanes, shrouds, air seals, and liners on the interior surface. The exterior surface provides a mounting surface for the actuation rings for the Inlet Guide Vanes through third stage variable stator vanes. Function: The High Pressure Compressor Forward Stator Case directs and guides the air that is received from the engine fan. It provides a smooth method to direct each stage of compressed air to the next stage of compression. Dimensions: The High Pressure Compressor Forward Stator Case is approximately 21.5 inches long, approximately 25 inches in length and the material is approximately .300 inches thick. The material is Titanium Alloy for the forward section of the case and Inconell 718 for the extension cases. Qualification requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. Qualification requirements are available for this acquisition. These qualification requirements apply to line item(s) 0001. The approximate solicitation issue date is 20 JUN 2005 and the estimated solicitation response date will be 20 JUL 2005. However, all proposals received within forty five-days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
