- AFWAY II The AF, in conjunction with the other DoD organizations, requires e-commerce/e-business expertise and information technology services to acquire, implement, and sustain a web-based e-commerce solution that will initially support purchase of information technology (IT) assets and provide a scalable and flexible foundation capable of supporting purchases of all commodities. Evolutionary deployment will be utilized. The initial spiral of AFWay II will replace the legacy AFWay system and support Network-centric Solutions (NetCENTS) applications as well as support the Information Technology Commodity Council (ITCC) strategic sourcing initiatives. Following a performance-based acquisition approach, the contractor will furnish the necessary personnel, COTS software, and related services required to meet the modernization program objectives. In response to this RFI, white papers are being accepted by OSSG. The AFWay PMO requests responders address all questions contained in the attached questionnaire. The PMO also requests recommendations on preferable contract type and structure. All information you provide will be treated as business-sensitive, ?For Official Use Only.? Responses to this notice should include company name, address, telephone number, point of contact, Cage Code, size of business pursuant to North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) and indicate whether your firm is a large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, 8(a) concern, women-owned small business, HUBZone small business, veteran-owned small business or service-disabled veteran-owned small business. Responders should indicate which portions of their response are proprietary or competition sensitive and should mark them accordingly. Contractor formats for the requested information are acceptable. Responses should be limited to five to ten (5-10) pages using the Times New Roman 12-pitch font. RFI submittals may be submitted electronically to the Contracting Officer identified below.
