- The Federal Bureau of Investigation intends to negotiate a sole-source, firm-fixed price contract under commercial item acquisition procedures with Stellent Chicago Sales, Inc., 330 N. Wabash Avenue, 15th Floor, Chicago, IL 60611-3603 for the purchase of Outside In Viewer Technology maintenance with options for up 3 additional years of maintenance. This notice will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web site www.fedbizopps.gov. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Based on market research conducted using the results of previous purchases for similar products, catalogues, the World Wide Web, and contacts made with knowledgeable individuals in Government and the related industry, it has been determined the FBI?s requirement for the above-listed items can only be provided by Stellent Chicago Sales, Inc. as they are the manufacturer and sole distributor of the required software and maintenance. The Standard Industrial Classification is 7372, and the Business Size Standard is $21.0 million dollars. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations, however, interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement or submit quotes to this office by 2:00 PM, EST, Wednesday, June 1, 2005, via facsimile to the attention of Ms. Lynda M. Theisen, Contracting Officer, at (703) 632-6427. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This contract will be awarded as a commercial item in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation, Parts 12 and 13.5.
