Description
Southwestern Power Administration will have the requirement for the following procurement: Construction of new communication facility on the west slope of Rockpile Mountain, Oklahoma: the project is located at Southwestern Power Administration's Rockpile Mountain Radio Station, approximately 13 miles north, northeast of Broken Bow, Oklahoma to include Reconstruction of existing 1,780 foot access road; construction of 1,700 foot long, two-conduit, concrete encased, underground conduit bank; install underground electric service to new communication site from distribution pole to set by others, adjacent to the site; complete sitework; supply and install new 500 gallon LP gas tank; construct specified foundation for radio building; supply and install specified radio building and equipment; conduct geotechnical investigation for tower foundation; constuct specified Rockpile Mountain Radio Station tower foundation; supply and install 260 foot self-supporting, three-legged, solid leg member, microwave tower; the Rockpile Mountain Radio station tower shall be constructed so as to accommodate the future installation of a personal communication system platform; and supply and install the specified FAA approved, complete dual, medium intensity white and red lighting system. Improvements to Poteau Mount Radio Station: The project is located at Southwestern Power Administration's Poteau Mountain Radio Station, approximately 5 miles south of Hartford Arkansas. Improvements include: complete sitework; construct specified Poteau Mountain Radio Station tower foundation; supply and install 180 foot self-supporting, three-legged, solid leg member, microwave tower; supply and install the specified FAA approved complete dual, medium intensity white and red lighting system; supply and install grounded bulkhead panel on exterior wall, two horizontal cable ladders inside of the existing Poteau Mountain radio building, and a new DC power plant inside of the Poteau Mountain radio building. Fabricate and Intall New Antenna Support at Denison Dam, located 3.8 miles north, northwest of Denison, Texas. This project includes: fabrication of 11 foot tall, 30 inch wide, welded lattice antenna support with solid round bar legs, and an intergral welded base. Install the antenna support on top of the air vent shaft at the courner of the parapet wall, on the Corps of Engineers Denison Powerhouse; supply and install on the antenna support, one welded section dish mount.
