- Description
- The Bureau of the Census intends to enter into a single source simplified acquisition with Unicon Research Corporation to subscribe to their services. Unicon is the creator of CPS (Current Population Survey) Utilities, a suite of data and software that helps researchers find and extract data for the Census Bureau's current population survey. Unicon is a provider of value-added CPS file information. It is the Census Bureau's belief that only Unicon can satisfy this requirement. This is not a request for competitive proposals, however, responses received within 15 days from the posting of this notice will be reviewed and evaluated. Interested companies having the capability to provide the above described services should submit in writing their capability statement with cost information to linda.a.vance @census.gov or fax to 301-457-8465 within 15 days of this notice. No telephone requests will be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice, but offers will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the government. If no response are received a sole source contract with Unicon will be pursued without futher notice.
