- Requirement under Solicitation SP0100-04-R-0184 issued 27 Sep 2004 is re-synopsized as a result of a reduction in the MIN/MAX quantities to the new quantities cited below. The Boot, Intermediate, Cold/Wet W/Safety Toe shall be manufactured in accordance with CR/PD 04-26 dated 09 September 2004. Quantities: Base: MIN: 1968 pr/MAX: 8046 pr, Options I through IV: MIN: 1956 pr/MAX: 11,784 pr. Destination will be New Cumberland, PA. First delivery is due 150 days after award. Procurement will be issued unrestricted and will be evaluated under Best Value Procedures with the following evaluation factors: Product Demonstration Models, Experience/Past performance, Socio-Economic and Javits-Wagner O?Day (JWOD). Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.201 (d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation or solicitation amendments. The Defense Appropriations and Authorization Acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as ?The Berry Amendment?) impose restrictions on the DOD?s acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textiles items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and ?specialty metals? (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions apply.
