- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, located at 3710 SW US Veterans Hospital Road, Portland, Oregon is submitting a pre-solicitation notice for the following: Demolition and disposal of the old SPD cart washer and associated components. Concrete infill to prep for new cart washer. Finish new floor. Metal fabrication and install to support contractor furnished and installed floor. Install of steam and water supply plumbing to new cart washer. Install of electrical supply for cart washer. Addition of a fire sprinkler head. Reconnect stainless steel ductwork. The major trades involved: demolition, concrete, steel, general construction, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, fire sprinkler, flooring. It is anticipated that the solicitation (including specifications and drawings) will be issued on or about March 16, 2005. A site orientation/visit walk through will be scheduled. The date and time of this visit/walkthrough will be annotated in the solicitation. The contractor shall complete the work within 120 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The estimated price range for the work to be completed is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Applicable drawings, and specifications will be attached to the solicitation. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments. This procurement is a 100% Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. The solicitation will only be available as a web based document and should be downloaded by interested offerors. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (17-FEB-2005).
