Description

99-The Securities and Exchange Commission intends to award a sole source contract to the West Group for the provision of access to electronic public records databases. Specifically Dun & Bradstreet business records, Delaware corporate records, business registrations, and BNA Securities databases. West Group provides this data through the internet via West?s proprietary software. The aforementioned electronic information services shall be provided on a transactional basis. The period of performance for this award: June 10, 2005 through June 09, 2006. West Group is the incumbent on the current contract for the provision of access to select electronic databases, and is the only known source that possesses the historical database capability required by the SEC. No solicitation will be issued for this sole source requirement. Interested organizations may submit their capability statements, and qualifications for the provision of this service, which maybe considered by the agency. This is not a solicitation, but a Notice of Intent. No solicitation will be issued for this sole source requirement, and no other information will be provided.
