- Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center intends to award to Commonwealth Biotechnologies, Inc. a Purchase Order for the procurement of sample analysis of 1st and 2nd tier mass spectroscopy for the presence of ricin toxin and SDS page ana lysis. The period of perfomance is for one year. CBI has developed methodologies, protocols, and comparator reference library of signatures to conduct complex analytical chemical analyses of toxins to include ricin, abrin, botulinum, tetrodotoxin and sna ke venoms. CBI is the only company capable of providing rapid, chemical analysis of unknown samples for the presence of toxins listed above. The government believes that Commonwealth Biotechnologies, Inc is the only organization that offers this service.
