- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The requirement is for the rewire of a building at March ARB, California. Remove the wires from the buildings conduits and ceiling and replace it with Cat 6 wire. Drop 175 LAN lines and 104 telephone lines all integrated into the systems furniture. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) under the reference number 163WG05 (oral offers will not be accepted). This is a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 335929 and the size standard is 500 employees. This document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in affect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-22. Offerors please make quotes good until 30 Sep 05 NOTICE TO OFFERORS, funds are not presently available for this contract. The Governments obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on t he part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
