- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. We have a requirement for a rough terrain vertical mast forklift, brand name Manitou or its equal. The following specifications apply: 10,000 lbs. basic capacity, 80 HP four cylinder die sel engine, tilting operators compartment (if available), full instrumentation, heavy duty steer axle, side shift mast, hydraulic load accumulator, 4 spool valve, two front and two rear work lights, back up alarm, tow pin, four wheel drive with four speed torque convertor transmission, 100 inch lowered height, fully enclosed cab with lockable doors, tinted glass, and windshield wiper, air conditioning, standard fixed steering column, high back seat, dust bowl cyclonic pre-cleaner, 15.5 X 25 L2 drive tires, 12 X 16.5 steer tires, 20 degree forward tilt - 15 degree back tilt cylinders, 2 stage mast 102 inch height lowered, 123 inch lift height, 84 inch wide class III carriage, and 72 inch pallet forks. Award will be made to a single offeror. This requirement is set aside 100% for small business. This is a best value award based on price, past performance, and non-priced factors. The applicable NAICS code is 333924 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. If you are selected, you must be regist ered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov/) in order to receive the award. If you are not in the CCR at the time we are ready to make the award, you will be disqualified. Payment will be made by Government Credit Card after re ceipt and acceptance of the item. Your price must be FOB Destination White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico so there will be no line item for shipping. Inspection and acceptance shall be at destination.
