- Industry Day and Site Visit Announcement Description: THIS IS A INDUSTRY DAY ANNOUNCEMENT. A DRAFT SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE FOR COMMENT. OC-ALC is planning to release RFP FA8105-05-R-0014 for KC-135 PDM in Aug of 2005. The solicitation will be a FAR Part 12 Hybrid. Particular attention should be paid to the clauses in Section H, the Addendums and the clauses pertaining to Performance Based Payments. Any questions regarding the RFP and any attachments to the RFP should be posted to the Questions & Answers (Q&A) database on web site: http://wwwext.tinker.af.mil/pk/CKC-135/CKC-135.htm. TOs and additional data will be provided in a Technical Library located at Bldg 4008, Room 101. The building is located on 59th Street, East of Douglas Blvd. A map can be requested from Mark Bernier. Appointments to review the data can be arranged with Mark Bernier, email Mark.Bernier@tinker.af.mil. In addition, two week site visits are being offered to Contractors who wish to review the organic PDM line at Bldg 3001, Tinker AFB, OK. To schedule a visit, contact Arnold Swanson, email Arnold.Swanson@tinker.af.mil. An Industry Day will be held from 8:00 to 4:00, 22 Jun 2005 at the Tinker Club, Bldg 5603, Tinker AFB, OK. Industry Day will consist of an Overview of the program and contract and a Q&A session from 8:00 to 11:30. ?Pay As You Go? meal will be available at the Tinker Club and the afternoon will be spent in ?One on One? Pre-Proposal Conferences with interested Contractors. Questions concerning the solicitation will be addressed on an anonymous basis on the web site and during the Industry Day. A General Assembly will then be called to close the Industry Day out. Contractors will be limited to five personnel per company and a list of names should be provided to Mark Bernier, email Mark.Bernier@tinker.af.mil. The Government plans to contract for a Basic period of five years and five one year Option periods with range quantities for each year. The projected contract award date is Jul 2006 with an estimated duration of 10 years.
