Description

This project consists of upgrades to campground that include the removal of existing asphalt pavement in roadway and parking spurs; pulverizing and mixing removed asphalt with existing sub-grade material, excavation compaction and finish grading; placement and compaction of new pavement for roadway and spurs; pavement striping, utilities and other site features; and Laguna Mountain Recreation Area water system upgrades. OPTIONS ITEMS include removal of picnic tables, furnishings and installation of picnic tables, reconditioning existing roadbed (back loop) and paving (back loop). This project is located in the Descanso Ranger District on the Cleveland National Forest. Government Estimate is between $500,000.00 and $1,000.000.00 NOT INCLUDING THE OPTION ITEMS. Government Estimate for OPTION ITEMS is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. NAICS 237310 SBA size standard $28.5 million. Recommended contract time is 210 days with a desired start date of September 15, 2005. PROPOSALS ARE DUE BY 12:00 NOON, LOCAL TIME, JULY 7, 2005.
