Description

HSCG87-05-Q-643323. Replacement of Wrangell Narrows Light 25, near Petersburg, Alaska. Light 25 will be a three steel pile dolphin with a 4 foot square platform. Removal of damaged Light 25 was completed earlier this spring. Contractor to fabricate all required materials with the exception of government furnished materials including, but not limited to, one each 3 pile dolphin, and three each 75 foot pipe piles. Tentative window for on-site work is July 25, 2005 to August 5, 2005. The estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. See the solicitation for bonding requirements. This procurement is issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990 and the applicable size standard is $28.5 million dollars in annual receipts for the past three years. All responsible small businesses may submit a quotation. This solicitation will not be issued in paper form. Solicitation documents may be accessed for download from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website beginning on the date of issue (estimated to be on or about 3 June 2005) at the following site: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will be posted on this website.
