DESC:1015-00-300-5395, Part Number:8689261, The item to procure is a RECOIL CYLINDER (NSN: 1015-00-300-5395). Requirements are 86, RECOIL CYLINDER F/140 GUN IS FABRICATED FROM SEAMLESS STEEL TUBING, PARTS INCLUDE COPPER AND ALUMINUM CASTINGS WITH A HELICAL WIRE SPRING. THE OVERALL DIMENSIONS IS APPROXIMATE 4.00 IN DIAMETER X 18 IN LONG. PHOSPHATE COATING IS REQUIRED. FOB is DESTINATION. For use on the M1 TANK. Estimated issue date is 05 FEB 07. This solicitation will be issued electronically in ac cordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index. htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render yo ur bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. The proposed contract will include 2 - 100 percent options. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that can be provided via the internet.
