Description

The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) intends to award a sole source procurement to Proquest Information and Learning under authority of FAR 6.302 to provide students with access to School Improvement Research Series (SIRS) online information resources. SIRS subscription services are the only online resources known to meet DoDEA's current and future requirements for access to online information that is juried, age appropriate, full text, searchable by topical content, and indexed in accordance with the Library of Congress guidelines. This is not a request for competitive quotes. However, any party that believes it is capable of meeting DoDEA's requirement as stated herein may submit a written capability statement that clearly supports and demonstrates their ability to perform the requirement. All submissions must be received by the response date and time of this notice. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. SEE UPLOADED DOCUMENTS FOR DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES.
