- The subject synopsis is re-issued. The Department of the Navy, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center San Diego (SPAWARSYSCEN SAN DIEGO) intends to solicit and award a cost plus fixed fee indefinite delivery indefinite quantity type contract for engineering and related technical support services for design, development, production and lifecycle support for Meteorology and Oceanography (METOC) Systems for Code 264 SPAWARSYSCEN San Diego, CA. Period of performance is for one base year and four one-year options. The Government is planning a single-award contract pursuant to the criteria of the RFP. No solicitation exists at this time. It is currently anticipated that solicitation N66001-05-R-5022 regarding this requirement will be released on or about June 23, 2005. NOTE: The Market Survey has resulted in a determination that the subject procurement will be conducted on an unrestricted basis. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments resulting from this announcement will be available to interested parties via the SPAWAR E- Commerce Central web site at http://e-commerce.spawar.navy.mil, under Business Opportunities, SSC San Diego, Open Solicitations. The solicitation will only be available electronically at this web site. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available.
