- Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport Rhode Island intends to award an order on a firm fixed price basis under FAR parts 12 and 13 procedures (commercial items, simplified acquisition procedures), for one Digital FM Receiver System per the specifications supplied as attachment #1 to the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued in less than 15 days per FAR 5.203(a) & (h) on/about May 27, 2005. Delivery is FOB Destination, Newport, RI 30 days after award. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business. See Note 1. This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
