Description
This Synopsis is for the aquistion of six each MIL-STD1553 Bus Analyzers w/Software with six each ARINC 429 PCI Cards with 8Rx, 8Tx ch, and six each ARINC GUI. This software will complete the outfitting of six Roll-up and Roll-around Equipment Carts. The Carts are part of the Aircraft Instrumentation Ground Support Equipment Upgrade Project for the Test Article Preparation Department. The Carts house instruments, standards, electronic equipment, and automated controllers that serve to automatically test the Aircraft installed Test Article Monitoring Instruments and Systems for operability and readiness prior to the test flight of the Aircraft. The six Carts being procured and all the equipment that is installed in the Carts are replacements for the Carts that have become obsolete. The subject MIL-STD1553 Bus Analyzers, PCI Cards, and Software are an integral part of the Cart and perform the function of analyzing the MIL-STD1553 Bus for operability. The MIL-STD1553 Bus is the software vehicle used in aircraft installed instrumentation to control and transfer measurement data protocol and streaming to and from the instruments installed. The Government intends to negotiate and establish a Sole Source Firm Fixed Price contract with Condor Engineering for the purchase of material identified above. The total estimated dollar value of this requirement is $154,206.00. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. Interested parties should submit the following information describing their capabilities to Steven Thompson (steven.d.thompson@navy.mil): a company pamphlet, brochure, or other price information; the name and telephone number of a company representative that can be contacted, and the company?s address.
