Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 1. Offers will be received no later than Friday 10 June 2005 4:00 PM. Proposal may be submitted electronically to: Joanne.Botwinick@us.army.mil The contract period is approximately for a Base year 01 July 2005 through 30 June 2006 with 4 Option Years and subject to the availability of funds. 2. The following is to be submitted as part of your offer: a. Resume: A one-page document, which identifies 1 year of experience Officiating Sporting Events. b. Three References: References can be personal references or professional references family members are excluded. Reference information shall include name, address, telephone number, and an indication that the reference is personal or professional. The Government may contact these references with regard to past performance. c. Prices: Include prices for the base period and the 4 option years. 3. Evaluation of Proposals: Technical and Past Performance when combined are greater than the cost factor. Subject: Statement of work The Youth Services (YS) desires to provide officials for all youth home basketball and Soccer games with the following needs, and under the following parameters: 1. Require two (2) basketball or soccer officials to officiate Games for fifth grade or higher . 2. Require one (1) basketball or soccer official to officiate fourth grade and under games. 3. All Officials must be active members in good standing of an officials organization for the respective sport they are asked to officiate. 4. All officials must be willing to accept payment for their services some time after the last home game. 5. Officials must understand that they will not be paid if the game they were assigned to officiate is cancelled, and they receive a minimum of 1 day advance notice of the cancellation. In the event of inclement weather on the day of the game, Youth Services will be able to cancel on the same day of the game, and not be r equired to make payment. 6. Youth Services will not pay officials that fail to show up for an assigned game. COR will provide schedule of games to the contractor prior to the start of each season.
