Countryman, Contract Specialist, Major Patrick Maloney (315) 772-5441 DESC: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposal s are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation W911S2-05-T-0092 is issued as a Request for Quotes. Solicitation documents and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulations. The sta ndard industrial code is 3841 (NAICS code 339112) Furnish and deliver the following Bags: 800 ea Front Load Combat Lifesaving Bags. The Combat Lifesaving Bag is required to interact with the Molle system. The bag must be configured so to be secured to the chest of an assault vest or to the back as a bu tt pack. The bag must have at least 6 pockets on the outside front that can be removed and replaced with any Molle compatible pocket/pouches. The back of the bag (the side against the chest) needs to have a pocket long and deep enough to carry 1-2 Sam Sp lints and a book of field medical cards. The inside of the bag must be configured to securely transport the following medical equipment; 9 packets of Povidone-iodine ointment, 1 bottle of Pseudoephedrine hydrocloride, 2 bottles of 50 of Acetaminophen tabl ets, 2 bags of 500 mils of Ringer's injection, 4 Elastic gauze bandage, 1 Tourniquet 6 4-in x 7-in Field dressing, 4 37-in x 37-in x 52-in Triangle bandage, 18 3/4-in x 3-in Adhesive bandage, 1-in roll X 10 Surgical adhesive tape, 1 Scissors, bandage 6 Exa m gloves, 1 child size Pharyngeal airway, 1 adult size Pharyngeal airway, 5 syringe with needle Atropine injection, 5 syringe with needle Diazepam injection, 2 Catheter and needle sets, 2 Intravenous injection sets, 12 Povidone-iodine pads, 1 case Universa l(Do not provide quote on medical equipment). Must be able to produce and deliver 800 of these CLBs NLT 13 June 2005. The bag will be of Desert Camo in color, light weight and made of a canvas type material. The customer currently uses the SKEDCOs Prin gle Combat Lifesaver Bag item number SK-1120-DC, this is the Brigade Combat Team standard and as such, all bids submitted must be in line with the SKEDCOs Pringle Combat Lifesaver Bag.
