- The Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), has a competitive requirement for Boeing 737-300 Initial and Recurrent Pilot Qualification Training. The DOT/FAA anticipates the award of an Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type contract with firm-fixed pricing consisting of a base year and 2 renewable 1-year option periods. To be considered qualified, each offeror must possess an applicable training program approved under Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Part 121, or FAR Part 135, or, a training course approved under FAR Part 141 or FAR Part 145 for the aircraft identified herein. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 611512. All offers are dues by 3:00 p.m., Central Time, on June 17, 2005. All OFFERS must be submitted to DOT/FAA, Bid and Proposal Officer, AMQ-140, Multi-Purpose Building, Room 316, 6500 South MacArthur Boulevard, Oklahoma City, 73169. Written submissions must be received (not just postmarked) by the due date. Responses submitted via e-mail shall be either in Adobe, PDF format or Microsoft Word 2000 (or earlier) format with file sizes not to exceed 1MB. Offers received after this date will be determined to be late and will not be considered for award and will be filed with the official award file. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by the Agency. All questions or comments shall be submitted in writing. All interested sources should first attempt to download the Screening Information Request (SIR) from the Internet. If downloading is not possible, all requests for a copy of the SIR should be submitted in writing either via facsimile at 405-954-3030, or via e-mail to: Brenda.Scarberry@faa.gov. The following notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
