H92239-05-T-0028– HMMWV Modifications for Assault Vehicle CHANGE 1: There has been a change in quantity of vehicles. There is an increase of one vehicle from four vehicles to five vehicles. Questions from Contractors: Q1. Do you have drawings or do you need them written as the modifications are made? A1. We do not have any drawings at the time. It will be up to the contractor to submit their technical drawings with their proposal. At the site visit, the contractor will have a chance to view a vehicle and the specific modifications to be done to it. Anamendment will be posted after the site visit to cover specific questions and clarify all modifications. Q2.Acess to your technical support? A2. There will be personnel from the unit who can be reached for questions, however, the contractor will leave the site visit with a clear undertanding of the modifictions. If there are further questions to be answered then the contractor can sned them to the contracting officer. Q3. Design criteria-Removability, spares, repairs, etc? A3. A few of the modifications will allow for removal. Clarification will be made at the site visit on 24 May at 10:00 a.m. We are not asking for spare parts. Repairs will be done at the unit's discretion. Q4. What type of pricing contract is this? A4. Firm-fixed price. Q5. When do you need these vehicles completed? A5. As stated in the combined synopsis/solicitation, the required date of completion of work is 20 Jun 05. However, earlier completion of this project is authorized and encouraged.
