- This announcement amends Foreign Comparative Testing of Double Sided Camouflage Netting of 18 Apr 05. The name of the program has been changed to Foreign Comparative Testing of Two-Sided Multi-Spectral Camouflage Netting. The quantity of product samples has been increased to 13 net systems with an equivalent area (square feet) of one hexagon and one rhombic (drawings available now upon request). It is recommended that each offeror provide the 13 samples in the hexagon and rhombic shapes. For testing purposes a system is considered to be responsive if it contains the following components (at a minimum): a user manual in English,reversible netting, a repair kit, and a carrying case. The Government intends to provide poles, stakes and disruptors for testing purposes. Offerors may also provide their own stakes, poles (equivalent of twelve 4 foot poles per system), and disruptors (at least six per system). Contact information for manufacturers of the support equipment that the Government will provide for testing purposes are also available upon request. The due date for product samples remains 1 July 2005. The physical shipping address is available now upon request. The Government anticipates release of the solicitation in early June 2005. Any parties who intend to submit a proposal and product samples in response to the solicitation are highly encouraged to register with the contracting activity now.
