- Description
- The Engineering Research and Development Center, Topographic Engineering Center (ERDC-TEC) intends to award an indefinite-delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract using Multiple Award Contract Procedures to acquire contractor support services to produce military terrain and water resources analyses and databases and environmental studies of selected areas of the world. The resulting contract will consist of one (1) base year and four (4) option years. A multiple award task order contract is anticipated with both fixed-price and cost reimbursement task orders. Government issued task orders shall provide for a minimum of $100,000.00 for the base year and a minimum of $100,000.00 for each option year, in the event the options are exercised. Government issued task orders under this contract shall not exceed a maximum of $10,000,000.00 including all options. The contractor is required to have a thorough knowledge of ERDAS Imagine and ESRI ARCGIS software and associated modules. The contractor is also required to have a thorough knowledge of Enterprise Geodatabase in a SQL and SDE environment. Enhancements to existing software may be required to meet database evolution. Photogrammetric mensuration techniques may be required to fully complete certain extraction metrics. Individual task orders issued under the resulting contract may include data classified up to SECRET. The anticipated solicitation release date will be on or about 20 June 05. The anticipated contract start date is 1 Oct 2005. The Request for Proposals (RFP) will be released via the USACE VICKSBURG DISTRICT Homepage at http:www.mvk.usace.army.mil/contrac t/ and can be located by clicking on Advertised Solicitations. It is the offerors responsibility to check the web site periodically for any amendments to this solicitation. A pre-proposal conference will be held in on or about 7 July 2005 at the Topogra phic Engineering Center, 7701 Telegraph Road, Alexandria,Virginia. This conference will provide a description of the Military Terrain and Hydrologic Analyses and Databases and Environmental Studies of Selected Area requirement. It will also provide respon ses to offerors questions received before the pre-proposal conference.
