- FA8103-05-R-0197 NSN: 1420-01-251-4526HD P/N: 40A81100-12 NOUN: ELECTRO-MECHANICAL ACTUATOR The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 30 days of the solicitation issuance will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. ITEM DESCRIPTION: Actuator for cruise missile Applicable to: Cruise Missiles Destination: FB2039 Estimated Qty: 30 EA The quantity can change prior to award, therefore, the following quantity ranges will be solicited: 20-29, 30-39 and 40-49 Due Date: Nov 2005 Qualification requirements: Government QRs do not apply. The procurement of this item is restricted to qualified sources listed on the Source Control Drawing owned by Raytheon. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 6 Jun 2005. The response date will be approximately 30 days after the issuance. The anticipated award date will be 1 August 2005. Written and electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. SOLE SOURCE To: Raytheon Co., Division Missile Systems, 1151 E Hermans Rd., Tucson AZ 85706-9367. No telephone requests. Only e-mailed or written requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. E-mail written requests to Christy.Slayton@tinker.af.mil. or 3001 Staff Drive, Ste. 2AG85A, TAFB, OK 73145. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm listed. (Raytheon) Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note: Note: Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government?s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
