Description: It is the purpose of this Request for Quotations to secure services for large woody debris restoration in and along Silver Creek on the Silver Lake Ranger District of the Fremont-Winema National Forests. In particular, this Request for Quotations centers on contracting one critical piece of equipment, with a qualified operator, necessary to complete the work. The work that shall be completed under the resultant contract is placement of large woody debris and some boulders (up to 1 cubic yard), excavation of large junipers and ponderosa pines for placement in stream channels, and stream bank and stream channel re-contouring. This will require traveling both in-stream and along the valley floor.
