- Description
- A Firm, Fixed Price Supply type contract for up to (18) sets of Weapons Elevator Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Control Assemblies, to be negotiated on a sole source basis with Rockwell Automation, Cleveland, OH., per FAR 6.302. Sole source is required due to proprietary rights with existing systems. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. FOB Destination. The contract will be solicited for a base year, with four one-year options as a Firm, Fixed-Price, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ), supply, type contract. The base year of performance is expected to begin 25 Jul 2005 or date of award, whichever is later, through 1 year thereafter. This acquisition will be solicited using the procedures of FAR Part 15. Copies of MIL/FED specs, QPL, may be obtained from the ASSIST database on the Internet at http://assist.daps.mil. The procedures of FAR Part 12 (commercial item acquisition) will not be used.
